ICE-TECH Advanced Lens Technologies, the exclusive manufacturer of the THIN-ICE Lens, has announced Advanced Optical in Vero Beach, Florida, as their 2011 Customer of the Year recipient.

ICE-TECH is an independent lens manufacturing company focused on the customer needs as well as innovation within the prescription lens community.  Mary Pena-Roque of Advanced Optical has set herself apart from other customers of ICE-TECH by her consistent dedication to their product and sales volume.

As Optical Manager of Advanced Optical, Pena-Roque has delivered excellence and outstanding quality to her customers for 8 years.  “Bringing my customers the best lenses and frames is what I strive to do—their happiness makes all of our hard work worth it,” says Pena-Roque.  ICE-TECH is one of the few lens production companies in the world who has developed their own lens designs and remains independent.  Pena-Roque said that “ICE-TECH has been a great fit with our company and I am honored to be recognized for simply using the best product.”

As Customer of the Year recipients, they are not only being recognized, but have won an all-expense paid trip to the world’s largest optical tradeshow in Milan, Italy.   Mary and Linda Richardson, both employees of the Center for Advanced Eye Care, will be accompanied by ICE-TECH’s president Beth Showalter and Founder and CEO Allen Weatherby. Their journey to Milan begins on March 8^th of this year and they arrive back on Florida on March 14^th.
